Ivaylo is the co-founder of The Beat. A former World Vice-Champion in Latin American showdance, Ivaylo has always had a great passion for ballroom dancing.

After retiring from competitive dance Ivaylo had the opportunity to further widen his horizons into the dance and fitness industries.

Ivaylo is World Dance Council licensed adjudicator, Group Fitness Instructor and a professional dance teacher.

A loving father of two beautiful girls, Ivaylo is always going to greet you with a smile and welcome you into the beautiful world of dance and fitness!

Alyona is the co-founder of The Beat. The skills acquired through her dance career as a top ranked Latin-American competitor and further enhanced through teaching and adjudicating are the fundamentals for the profound understanding of dance in its diverse forms.

Alongside with dance, fitness has always played an integral part in Alyona's life.

Following a successful dance career, Alyona has become a proud mom of two girls, all while turning her passion for dance and fitness into a flourishing business that now spreads over four studios in two locations!

Arlyn started her fitness journey back in 2003. She has been evolving ever since in all aspects of fitness and health, acquiring knowledge and expertise allowing her clients achieve their goals every day!

ANUSHIKA BHATTACHARYA
Yoga Instructor
Anushika’s yoga journey began in her teens, introduced by her father, and has remained a core part of her life. After excelling academically with gold medals in Economics and Business, she transitioned from a corporate career to teaching yoga in 2018. Specializing in Hatha Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa, her classes are tailored to individual needs, focusing on breath-led movement and safe, effective practice.

Her dedication to integrating yoga into everyday life makes her a valuable addition to The Beat team, where she inspires and supports students in achieving their fitness and wellness goals.

GILLIAN HADLEY
Group Fitness
Gillian started in the fitness industry in 2000 working in the University of Glasgow as a fitness instructor and exercise specialist. In 2003 Gillian relocated to Hong Kong as a teacher of Physical Education and has been motivating and inspiring young students to live an active and healthy lifestyle and to value the benefits of physical activity and exercise.
As a qualified instructor of Les Mills Bodypump, Grit, RPM, Gillian is excited to offer safe, fun and friendly classes to help adults begin or return to their fitness journey.

JACQUELINE BROWNHILL

Cardio training led Jacqueline to run four marathons in Asia and even win a couple of trophies for running road races. After being a regular participant in Les Mills Group Exercise classes for the best part of a decade, Jacqueline decided to enroll in training for RPM and Body Pump to share her love for the classes, and for fitness in general, with others.
​
Jacqueline believes that exercise is beneficial for everyone, not only for the body but also for the mind. If anything gives you a strong mental state, it’s pushing through week after week of marathon training, or driving your heart rate high during an RPM class. Jacqueline offers encouragement in her classes to get you pushing hard, along with a welcoming, genuine smile.

JACK NEVILLE
Personal Training
Jack is a qualified spinning instructor, boxing instructor, and personal trainer.
Alongside being a CX pilot Jack specialises in body recomp and strength & conditioning for sport.
In the past Jack has competed in Mens Physique and currently enjoys powerlifting and mixed martial arts fighting.

JOHN BOARDMAN
Personal Training
John is a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified personal trainer with extensive experience in the fitness industry. He works one on one to find out the individual needs and goals of his clients and prepare a tailor-made program regime that best suits their current physical level, helping them achieve the fitness goals that have been set.
Clients with past or existing injuries will certainly benefit from a wide range of specialised exercises that John incorporates in his training. links, or connect data from your collection.
